Active listening skills and rapport building skills. Its important to understand what motivates people to make life changes like re-entering the workforce and tapping into that. It’s vital to be open minded and to have open dialogue with participants and make suggestions and brainstorm about potential work options for them even if it’s something they haven’t considered or mentioned before. Being transparent allows for trust to be built to work together effectively to establish short term and long-term goals
